Boggs Insurance is owned and operated by Stephen Patrick (Pat) Boggs. Pat has more than 30 years experience in the industry and is a certified insurance counselor. He grew up in Lexington and attended the University of Kentucky.
The agency has its roots in the 1930’s when W. Guy Bush started an agency on Market Street. In 1955, Pat’s father, Robert C. (Bob) Boggs started the Boggs Insurance Agency and the agencies merged in 1966 becoming Bush and Boggs Insurance Agency. Pat worked at the agency growing up and joined the agency in 1978 after Mr. Bush’s retirement. Pat went back out on his own in 2005 as Boggs Insurance. He is proud to carry on the family tradition.
